Creative Commons

Wawaweewa!
This is fun.Creative Commons is exactly what I've been looking for as far as Alphonse Mucha's artwork. I have always loved his work and had a very hard time finding a way to use some of his designs.
I guess my question is: Is this the same thing as "public domain"?

  1. No, it's not necessarily the same as the public domain. The public domain means that the work is no longer under copyright and may be used for not only scholarly purposes but also for commercial purposes. The CC license will still have some restrictions depending on which CC licnese the artist has gotten.
